Got Questions?
Frequently Asked
Everything you need to know before getting started.
Do I need to pay for the trial sessions?
⌄
No — the first 2 sessions are completely free with no commitment. You only enrol in a plan once you're happy to continue after the trial.
How do you determine which grade level to start at?
⌄
We run a short, friendly placement assessment during the free trial. This helps us identify exactly where your child is and place them at the right level — whether that's catching up, keeping pace, or working ahead.
Is this aligned with the Ontario and U.S. curriculum?
⌄
Yes — our Math Foundations program is aligned with both the Ontario Mathematics curriculum and the U.S. Common Core State Standards (CCSS), making it suitable for families in Canada and across the United States.
What is the CPA methodology?
⌄
CPA stands for Concrete–Pictorial–Abstract. Rather than jumping straight to numbers and formulas, we start with hands-on physical examples (concrete), move to diagrams and visuals (pictorial), and only then introduce abstract symbols. This approach builds deep understanding — not just memorisation.
Can we reschedule sessions if we need to?
⌄
Yes — life happens and we understand that. Sessions can be rescheduled with reasonable notice. Just reach out and we'll find a solution that works for your family's schedule.
What does my child need to get started?
⌄
A laptop or tablet with a stable internet connection is all that's required. We'll send worksheets digitally before each session and guide you through everything in the first trial class.
