Got Questions?
Frequently Asked
Everything you need to know before getting started.
Do I need to pay for the trial sessions?
⌄
No — the first 2 sessions are completely free with no commitment. You only enrol in a plan once you're happy to continue after the trial.
Does my child need any coding experience to start?
⌄
No prior experience needed. Stage 1 starts from scratch — introducing drag-and-drop blocks in a fun, low-pressure way. Children who have done Scratch Jr will feel right at home from day one.
What does my child need to get started?
⌄
A laptop or desktop computer with a stable internet connection. Scratch runs entirely in a web browser — no downloads or installations required. We'll send everything your child needs before the first session.
How does Scratch lead into Python coding?
⌄
Scratch teaches the same core concepts as Python — loops, conditionals, variables, and functions — but using visual blocks. By Stage 4, students have built the logical thinking skills needed to transition smoothly into our PyAI Launchpad Python program.
Is 1:1 or group better for my child?
⌄
Both are excellent options. Group sessions (max 4) encourage peer creativity, collaboration, and healthy competition. 1:1 coaching allows us to move at your child's exact pace and tailor every project to their interests.
Can we reschedule sessions?
⌄
Yes — sessions can be rescheduled with reasonable notice. Just reach out and we'll always find a solution that works for your family's schedule.
